The 1C-SoftClub company will release Sid Meier's Civilization V in Russia ( developed by Firaxis Games, foreign published by 2K Games ) - a continuation of the legendary global strategy, which has sold more than 9 million copies worldwide.
In the fifth part, players will be asked to lead one of eighteen nations and, having led it through millennia - from the Stone Age to the space age, to make it the most powerful in the world.
Sid Meier's Civilization V differs from its predecessors with improved graphics, expanded diplomatic capabilities and a new combat system. Now an armed conflict with the enemy is not just a battle between two detachments. Players will be able to massively attack the enemy in different directions and support the main troops with bombardments from the rear. Convinced pacifists also have a free hand. The path of diplomacy is open to them, which is often more effective than armed aggression.
In addition, the authors retained and significantly improved the multiplayer mode. It is to him that the previous games in the series largely owe their popularity. In Civilization V, players from all over the world will be able to not only compete with each other, but also share scenarios, compare results, demonstrate their achievements, and simply communicate and visit thematic sites without leaving the game.
Sid Meier's Civilization V will be released on PC entirely in Russian. Details and the date of the Russian release will be announced additionally.
